Massive Attack - Blue Lines Reissue
Massive Attack‘s 1991 debut Blue Lines will be reissued on 19 November 2012. The group have announced via their Facebook page that the album has been “rebuilt from the original tapes, remixed and remastered”. Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

Thank you for posting. Looks like a tasty product. Nothing so far on their official site about this yet. I'm tempted by this, it's a fantastic album.

I played this album for months when it was released...but no remixes? No nothing? They had some nice remixes at the time. I actually like this one better than the original:

I love Blue Lines, not sure I would get this without any bonus tracks/remixes. I don't usually sit around watching music videos, too busy
This isn't from Blue Lines but great example of remix "So fierce U look 2night, the brightest star pales 2 Ur sex..."

Why not include fan favorite "Any Love"?
Either the original from 1988.. or the re-recorded version on the b-side of Daydreaming

Yeah for an album that had no shortage of extra versions, I am confused by the choice to not compile them to a secondary deluxe disc.

Didn't Mad Professor remix a whole album of Massive? All dub remixes?

Yes he remixed their second album "Protection." The remix version was titled "No Protection."
