George keeps the party goin' like no other... Many different channels, live performances, music videos, interviews, and growing. Shouldn't Prince have an official channel along these lines? Somebody talk some sense into him. George Clinton has got to be one of the 10 most influential musicians of all time.....
if it wasn't for him cranking out the musical input he did, LA West Coast Rap would have never kicked off as it sampled his work time and time again...especially in the 1990s
De La Soul literally crafted their first and most memorable hit of 1988 ME MYSELF AND I from George Clinton classic KNEE DEEP
they took the entire riff and rode it unto glory

I just think it's so wrong he somehow lost publishing rights to all that amazing music he created, and the IRS is on his ass for underpaying, which he probably wouldn't have a problem paying if he had the rights to his own music. Clinton mastered the art of music, he kept expanding it but never deviated from his true essence
Rap Music, particularly west coast rap was able to move beyond the 80s into the 90s because of this guy
during the late 80s, many of our prolific luminaries, particulary the ones who really crafted this great music, and churned it out the box, they were juked out of money, then songrights, so the establishment could control their work, that's why sampling began to show prevalency by the end of that decade, and because of this exploitation, the quality of music has witnessed such a huge decline during the past 2 decades
