When the dude is IN the picture, it ruins it and turns it into your everyday menacing male dominating bullshit.

Janet's original was cool because you didn't even know who the dude was. It was like female domination the way he was just there to support her breasts.

I wish he wasn't! It takes attention away from the woman, in a kind of possessive manner, though not as bad as the A$AP Rocky and ODB takes on it (of course, they had to be in the picture).
