Uhh the best contestant was Season 1 winner, a little somebody named Kelly Clarkson. But Trenyce is ok.

I wouldn't call her the best ever, but she is definitely underrated. I wish her career would have taken off more. I think she just messed up by not disclosing all of the trouble she's been in. I think she is in the UK doing plays now.

X-Factor has better contestants. This guy will be the next big white rapper! He is really good, and I hate rap.

But she was upfront to the producers of the show and they felt it wasn't enough to keep her off the show. I suppose it was the public that couldn't get past it.

Simon Cowell is a toad! He spread some gossip in his biography that Trenyce had a threeway with Corey Clark (admittedly bad judgement on her part) and Kimberly Caldwell. Though she did have a romance with Corey it wasn't a threeway. I suspect Corey also had a rendevous with Caldwell as well, hence Simon's eagerness to believe any negative gossip concerning Trenyce.

Trenyce claims her insistence on outside representation for her castmates concerning the contract got under Simon's skin.

My favorites. Kelly & Carrie are so good. I don't know. I could go back and forth with both of them. And it depends what you prefer. If you're more into soulful sounds you'll probably pick Kelly but if you want exceptional contemporary country Carrie is perfect. The best of this generation.

What might have hurt Trenyce on that show might be that she seemed fully formed from the get go. She would've been harder to mold.

I believe Simon aluded to that fact.

I'm sure it did get under his skin. She was "challenging" him and he doesn't like to be challenged.
Didn't she tell the producers only part of the story, but when her rap-sheet was revealed, they got rid of her? I just remember something hitting the press a few days before she was kicked off of the show.

No everything was revealed to the producers before she was let on the show.

Her record was expunged due to a program that will clean your record like a crime was never committed. Trenyce always claims that a friend gave her some stolen clothes and when she went to return them for a different size they arrested her. True or not her record was expunged.

The "scandal" came when thesmokinggun released her mug shot.

After that she was in the dog house with the public, but she was exposed after week two. She remained on the show all the way up to 5th place when she was in the bottom two with Ruben Studdard. I forget the country wannabe who should've been voted off that week.

I think that guy's name was Josh.

I'm glad to see her doing well, though.
