J*DAVEY APPRECIATION THREAD

I"ve been into this group since I first saw 'Slooow' on BET. They are funky, punk, pop, electric and eclectic! Their live shows are amazing and I can't get enough of them. They are Miss Jack Davey and Brook D'leau. J*Davey!

I've always liked their sound. But the most interesting component of

J*Davey is Brook; he's the dude creating the awesome production.

It's amazing to me that Warner Brothers tried to break them up and have Jack go solo after signing them as a group. They wisely told WB to kick rocks and took it indie again!

Hahaha I love this thread, I was actually about to create a thread about them today... They kinda remind me of Kelis and the Neptunes "wanderland" sound. They're awesome tho, glad to see more people appreciating them =)

My son is friends with them, and he and another friend, interviewed them a few years ago, early in their career, when my son ran a website.

I remember around 2006, when he was really into their music, and used to play that song "Mr. Mister". That's how I found out about them. Although I'm an older adult, I have to say I love the creativity in their music and their image. Nice to see an appreciation thread aobut them. I just don't feel they get enough recognition musically in the industry though.
