Yay! biggrin

Mint most certainly is un-sung and very worthy of an episode. We tend to forget that there's a lot of music aficionados in this forum who have broader tastes and knowledge than the average casual listener who only consumes what the industry feeds them.

Trust me, Mint Condition still isn't well known in the mainstream.

Yeah they are. As big a fan that I am of them...most folks my age only know them by "Breakin' My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes)" and "Send Me Swingin'". They truly are underrated, it's just that I hope that they do them right with their episode, because some of those "Unsung" episodes end up being inaccurate and out of order with timelines, releases, etc. Just sayin', but I'll watch it anyway. thumbs up!

So true, they are not well known, they seem to be well respected within the music industry but not well known mainstream.

Bittersweet for me, while I love that they are getting some sort of media coverage -- as a die hard, I DON"T consider them unsung. But I'm excited to hear their story regardless...

As a big Mint fan I am thrilled for them to be getting this exposure. They deserve to be a household name. I hope to hear a few cuts from my fav album Livin The Luxury Brown! cool

MC getting an unsung episode at this point while their still

at the height of their career does seem a little odd but

it can't hurt. It will be interesting to see if the episode covers

the departure of Keri Lewis following the Life's Aquarium cd.

A few of the band members weren't too happy about it initially.

I wanna hear about that too because I wanna know if the song Runaway has anything to do with Toni Braxton?

I don't think it does. I know some fans were speculating whether One Wish was

about Keri too. I think it's all just coincidence. I read an article online a few years

ago concerning the band and Keri Lewis. Stokley was the main guy urging the guys

to support Keri and his decision to leave the band and start a family.

I saw that interview too.... Stokley was the only one who went to the wedding. The other guys sort of boycotted as they didn't agree with their brother leaving the band for a female (even if the female was Toni Braxton).

They seem to be on good terms now. I saw where Keri did a show with them a couple of months ago.

I think the fact that they aren't a household name is what keeps

the band hungry.
