I just posted that song in the '500 songs you have to hear before you die' thread Such an amazing song both lyrically and vocally. It's such a great song that it's hard for anyone who covers it to take away from how good it really is. I think NYSNC also did a nice job covering this song on their first album but nothing really beats Christopher's original IMHO.

I remember when he was the front man for a band called Heather Black and we used to go see him at the Bayway Roller Rink in Baytown, Texas. He was kind of a poor man's Meatloaf. He NEVER played any songs like what were on his albums. It was all hard rock.

Then, when I was in college, we hired him to play a frat party. His song "Sailing" hit big like two weeks before our party and my frat was all excited that he was now famous and he was going to play a concert at our frat house.

But he cancelled. Seems like he had to be on "Good Morning America" or something. The nerve.

Sailing takes me away to where I've always heard it could be
