I remember when he was the front man for a band called Heather Black and we used to go see him at the Bayway Roller Rink in Baytown, Texas. He was kind of a poor man's Meatloaf. He NEVER played any songs like what were on his albums. It was all hard rock.
Then, when I was in college, we hired him to play a frat party. His song "Sailing" hit big like two weeks before our party and my frat was all excited that he was now famous and he was going to play a concert at our frat house.
But he cancelled. Seems like he had to be on "Good Morning America" or something. The nerve. | |
