New Tori Amos video "Flavor" premieres!!
Love it. I think it's her best video since the Choirgirl days.
What do you guys think??

fantastic rework of the original (which I immensely love as well). can't wait for the album. "what's that book where they're all behind the wardrobe?"

I always liked the original version on AATS, but I think the addition of the orchestra really adds something majestic to the song.

if you tuned out after Choirgirl/Venus, like me and only liked certain album tracks from then on out, thus not watching her video's or just not being aware that they were out, you are in for quite a shock indeed, lol.
i'm sure she's had quite a bit of work done. her face certainly looks very different from what it used to look like. indeed, waxy is a good word. and kind of frightening to me. she used to be beautiful. oh well, as long as she's happy with the way she looks i guess it's all good.
kind of digging this song. liked the original and this reworking is good too. a bit curious for the album now. and that's saying something since i totally disliked her last album which i'd trouble sitting through even once.
that saddens me since her albums and bsides and live shows were among the best things on my musical calendar to look forward to. here's to hoping i'll be able to reconnect somehow.

I love this song and the video is pretty good but truthfully, I am mourning the old Tori.

She's a redhead.
They're known for not aging gracefully.
I don't think she's had much done at all.
And she's older. With age comes conservatism (even Madonna is more conservative just watch an interview). Maybe she just doesn't have it in her to be as visually cutting edge as she was when she was younger.

Seriously? Not much done? Just not ageing too well? Please. Poor Tori butchered herself. She shouldn't have been so vain, she fucked herself up.

i wonder what she had done tho. i mean, it's mainly just botox and her eyes, i guess.
her eyebrows have been looking totally weird for a decade now as does her make up with those weird accents on and around here eyes.
but the facial structure changed as well. perhaps a drastic lift or something? she tends to look almost like a different person in some video's and pictures. it wasn't as totally obvious when she was wearing all those wigs and performing as different personas but when she's just 'regular tori' the difference is notable. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I read recently in an interview, Tori said that she had been very depressed the last few years and I truthfully think that the reason for her depression is because she went in for a little face lift and came out looking like a totally different person. And the face lift was not good. I love Tori and have been a HUUUUGGGGEEEE fan since 1994 and have even met her a few times. She gave my daughter a signed autographed picture at her To Venus and Back tour and we were sitting front row and she was so sweet, waving at my daughter during the show and being really sweet to us. I hate that this has happened to her- I think she kind of lost her way and got a little caught up in herself. The Tori of 1999 seemed so much more "earthy" and now she seems to be alot into her looks and labels, (she lost me with "ode to my clothes" ) but I'll always love Tori, I just miss the old Tori - the one who said "Fuck You" to the man- "Fuck You" to anyone who didn't like her, she was so great and now she seems a bit of a mess. I was just watching "Welcome to Sunny Florida" the other day and I thought (this dvd is BEFORE she had work done) and I thought, "She was ageing so beautifully," the crinkles around her eyes were cute, her face was mature but still beautiful, she was just so so pretty. I think this is a cautionary tale- people should not take "face work" so lightly, it is a serious business and once you've been fucked up- you're stuck with it.
