Fiona....Good PERFORMER... and very underrated.

I like Marys music......but she is just not good live.... but she seems sweet and real. Her tour had a real good message for alot of women.

I'm so for you! You finally got to see someone I would like to see and haven't! Glad to see you had such a good time! But, I have to disagree with you on Mary J--maybe she wasn't on fire tonight, but she was terrific when I saw her open for Prince. Hope I eventually get the chance to see D. live!

Maybe Mary was off tonight.... she barely singed and made us do most of the singing She has a nice shape for her age.....and she was really passionate about talking about the theme of the tour which I thought was inspiring....

Her girl group was there the young girls she just signed on her label and this other chick that opened up the show was on her label.

D'Angelo is a BIG one on my list to see, if he would only come near me! Maybe Mary wasn't in good voice tonight...but when I saw her open for Prince in LA she was in fine form--singing old songs by herself as well as performing a duet with Prince. Glad you had such a GREAT time! I really love it when people get this passionate about hearing their favorite artists in person--especially when they DELIVER. I'll have to check out the other female performer you mentioned--I've never heard of her. I know you'll be on for a few days...

Whenever he gets near you even if his not just headlining the show... GO SEE him anyway... its still worth it and youll love it!! I still really enjoyed D angelo and he was on for a long time.

YES he did and his done it the version his been touring slow version... Okay lets see LOL.... he did Brown Sugar (with a funky rendition) Crusin, Sugar Daddy -his new song, another new song I think its called With You... it was really nice, its slow but its really nice...He did Untitled, he did Chicken Grease, Lady (Funky Rendition), I think he played a melody from Me and Those Dreamin Eyes of Mine but didnt sing it and he did alot of jam sessions which were INSANE in between

I'm going to have to find D'Angelo myself and demand that album.

I can't wait to finally see D live myself...whenever that will be. I'm being stubborn, I only want to see him when he's on the bill by himself. To me, when there's no opening acts or at the very least only one opening act, then the headliner has enough time to play most of their songs.

Otherwise, so happy for you Mjscarousal!!! I know you are just beside yourself. I just refuse to pay money to go when I know good and well that once D is finished with his set, then I'm bouncing. I don't care for Mary J. at all live and I'm not too crazy about Melanie Fiona either...but if you said she's good live, then maybe I should give her a chance.

He played Sugar Daddy which was that song he played on BET and another song that was slower and they both are really good good songs especially LIVE!!!

Honestly, this is all i care about. "THE ALBUM". If he ain't playing in my neck of the woods, i don't really care about these damn shows. I know the nukka can rock it in concert, that's a giving.
