Xscape, TLC or SWV or Total? To me, TLC is tops, but I would put Xscape at number 2, SWV at 3 and Total last "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

I love TLC, but in comparision to SWV, they fall short when it comes to album cuts. They pulled out an ace with their singles, but I could never bring myself to listen to a whole TLC album.

I like them all.
But Total doesn't even belong in the same sentence as the others.

It's a tie between SWV & TLC for me. I never really cared for Xscape, or Total [they both groups had songs I like, but they couldn't touch SWV or TLC imo]. الحيوان النادلة ((((|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|̲̅̅=̲̅̅|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|)))) ...AND THAT'S THE WAY THE "TITTY" MILKS IT!

Agree with every word you said, my play count for TLC is minimal in comparison to SWV [Edited 8/25/12 10:51am] Life has a way of making you live it. . . .

TLC > SWV > Xscape > Total.
But I would take En Vogue over all of them.

TLC by far with SWV next, followed by Xscape. I've never really liked Total, I've always seen them as a group Diddy made just to get money

How about nan one of them this time around?

I don't understand this thread but seriously I already said TLC like 200 times whenever it's brought up. Total and Xscape are total NONFACTORS. [Edited 8/25/12 17:25pm]

NOW you make sense. I love Xscape's first album. The 2nd one was okay. Niot a fan of the third one.

I could never get into XScape from the first album. The second album was cool but then they fell back down again. As for Total?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Total was like the 90's version of Apollonia 6 but with shittier music

Fucked up thing is all three members sung lead and all of them were horrible... two of them sounded like Mickey and Minnie Mouse on crack.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
What! All three did lead? I never noticed

Only Omar Epps' wife (Keisha) was listenable but I paid more attention to her legs than her voice. Kima and Pam though... [Edited 8/25/12 17:50pm]

I always thought Kima did all the lead and she just did shitty stuff with her voice

Pam (the short haired, shades-sporting one) did the leads. Keisha and sometimes Kima would back. [Edited 8/25/12 17:53pm]

Kima, Pam (the lead vocalist on most of their tracks) and Keisha

So THAT's her name. I thought she was the one married to Omar

TLC stood the test of time, and I still love all of their music, SWV comes close though I ended up giving their albums away. I had Xscape's first tape cause my cousin didn't want it anymore, but it was so boring, I think I threw it out though I wouldn't be surprised if it popped up in one of my drawers. I remember loving Xscape's Keep on Keepin On from the Sunset Park soundtrack, and not knowing Liberian Girl yet though I was already crazy about MJ and hadn't picked up Bad yet, I would play that song over and over for its sample. Their only song I liked without a guest was My Little Secret and now the lyrics leave a sour taste in my mouth cause they are just trashy. I had the Total album and it was good for it's time and got heavy rotation, but I also ended up giving it away though I will play some of the songs once in awhile online for old times sake.
