Jody was one of those acts where I liked the remixes better than the album versions. I don't recall what the album version of this sounds like because I hardly heard it. The radio played the remix.

I agree (for most of her songs), except this one.

Here is the original version. It sounds more "natural". Much better baseline during the bridge.

I have the album, but I bought it at a flea market after it was old and I had already bought the maxi singles. I mostly got it because of the George Michael duet, which I didn't have, and it was only a dollar.

When i first heard this one(still) i would have bet my life that Prince was involved. Andre channeled prince perfectly(production). He shoulda been a contender.
