Usher's ex-wife Tameka Raymond just lost in the former couple's bitter custody battle -- TMZ has learned, a judge has awarded Usher primary custody of their two sons.

It's a shocking development -- considering both sides were trying to strip each other of custody. Tameka felt the singer was an absentee father who was too absorbed in his career to be a good dad. She also accused him of using drugs in front of the kids.

Usher argued Tameka was inattentive and irresponsible.

The ruling marks the end of an emotional custody trial -- involving wild accusations and name-calling ... Usher even broke down at one point on the witness stand.

But today, we're told a judge sided with the singer -- awarding Usher primary custody of the ex-couple's two sons, which means the children will be spending the majority of the time with their father.

Tameka still retains some custodial rights -- but the extent to which Tameka will be able to see her kids is unclear.

I wonder what could have come out about her during those hearings? Im sorry, I just think she wants Usher's money. I have no idea what kind of mother she is however, but for the judge to give full custody to the father and with the kind of schedule Usher has? Hmmmmmmm.........

someone posted on another site that she doesn't have custody of her other kids, either. even if that's not true, i agree. it's really, really unusual to see a father get custody.

A person who keeps bullying someone to give her half the money HE earned isn't capable of looking after two kids she spawned. The judge made a smart decision IMHO.

I know, I'm kinda turning into a non-apologist these days.

But I think Tameka's attempts to use bait against Usher backfired. I think the judge saw someone who was not equipped to handle raising a child under the circumstances surrounding an ex and decided that the ex-husband in this case was actually more responsible, therefore Tameka lost.

Watch her end up on season 2 of Hollywood Exes.

A person who keeps bullying someone to give her half the money HE earned isn't capable of looking after two kids she spawned. The judge made a smart decision IMHO.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I don't like golddiggers and something must be up for Usher's mother to have disliked her so much. The reason she didn't even want to give Usher joint custody is because that would have taken half the money she would have gotten for those kids- now she won't get nearly as much.

And the judge did this when she's just lost a child? (which is horrible and I feel for her on that) but she must have not been looking good in court.

usher would of did better by pursuing me which i knew he wanted 2 do from the few times we met he never would of got involved wit that wanch well as u all know i was the real concept behind the confessions cd he wanted 2 come out the closest and confess his love 4 me but his record label thought it would of put a end 2 his career. i am the one he was cheating on chilli wit yep she caught is in the thrones of passion we was doing it to prince adore .its all good though cuz i helped frank out the closest i cant shake them r&b dudes damn

Yeah I felt for her tragedy but I just hope she uses better judgment than doing it for pandering just to get what she wants because she'll constantly get burned for it just like Usher would've if he had done the same thing.
