i remember this from the 80's, i liked the song & it was probably one of the few american 'new wave' bands to have some success in the uk?.. don't remember anything else from them though... i love all the 80's nostalgia, the cable/fairisle jumpers & coiffered hairdos.. hairspray overload

Probably their next biggest hit... "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Ive been into Wang Chung since the 80's. They didn't have a bunch of hits but the ones they did have were pretty huge(in america). A greatest hits CD from them would be a good buy.
When they released their first album(1981) they were known as Haung Chung.
I Never Wanted to Love You In a Half Harted Way(from the album Haung Chung)
Wait. This song was also in the movie To Live and Die in LA. [Edited 8/24/12 0:45am] Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.
