I kinda like Two Virgins. It's an interesting record if you can get pass Yoko. Can't stand the other experimental stuff he did other than this song which is by far Yoko's best vocal performance:

LOL @ Two Minutes!! I've always been curious to hear Two Virgins, just not enough to buy it.

I am not a fan of her voice at all. I think she is interesting, and I don't hate her for breaking up the Beatles, but I would never buy one of her albums. However, I like this song okay.

I actually had never heard it until now. I am familiar with Elvis Costello's cover of it, though, and it's not a bad song when sung by a good singer.

Funny of ALL singers you should choose Elvis Costello smile

'Cause NO ONE has a problem with Costello's voice, right? lol

By the way, I have that version too. I didn't remember because it was on a bonus disk that I'm undusting in 3...2...1...

LOL.

Yoko Ono is my favorite artist, and John is one of my favorites, too, but I wish you hadn't posted this.. all it's going to do is confirm people's prejudices against Yoko. Believe it or not, she actually has made music that's more than just screaming or saying her husband's name for 20 minutes. If you could get past the fact that she can't really sing, I'd recommend checking out some of her solo albums. She is a very diverse artist, and she's almost guaranteed to have something you like, if you can tolerate her singing.

btw, as the 'experimental' albums go, Unfinished Music No. 2: Life With The Lions is a lot better than Two Virgins or Wedding Album, imo..

Yoko's music has been covered by many different artists.. here's a few of my favorite Yoko songs sung by other artists..

Harry Nilsson - Silver Horse

Iggy Pop - I'm Going Away Smiling

Rosanne Cash - Nobody Sees Me Like You Do

You're getting me all wrong. I love John Lennon's solo career, always have. I've never liked Yoko though. I've tried to listen to her music and her albums (solo or with John) and they all sound the same. Sure they might be good songs if she got someone else to sing them, but I just can't take them with her voice. She's a bit like Bob Dylan in that sense. My main purpose for posting this was because I wanted to see how people reacted to a song (if you could call it that) that's so boring and terrible (in my opinion) by one of the most critically acclaimed acts in music history (counting his Beatles' work too)

I understand why you posted it.. but as a huge fan of John and Yoko, I don't like seeing their worst music being posted. From what I've heard and read, the popular opinion is that most of John's solo music was garbage (aside from Plastic Ono Band & the song 'Imagine'), and of course everyone thinks Yoko is terrible, and this track is just going to reinforce those opinions.

What do you think of the song "Well, Well, Well"? Because I find it odd that anyone could love that song and not like Yoko.. that song is basically John doing Yoko's thing.

As much as i do like Yoko solo.... i can see why some are ''eh'' on her solo work.

I am also a huge fan of Bjork, and i think of Yoko as Bjork before Bjork razz

The 2 musically just work so well together for me headbang

I thought I was the only one realise this. I LOVE Bjork............when she's not singing. I can't get past that voice. Her music is awesome but she shouldn't be singing it.
