Franz Liszt

My favorite composer of all time, to me he is the GOD of composing. But that's just my view, Lizt is one of the few composers my orchestra never got o tackle much. His pieces are very technical and take quite a while to learn, and giving we had to learn our pieces within a month or 2 that just wasn't happening confused

But i adore his music!

This piece right here is like 10 orgasms in the ear & then ice cream after.

It's Liszt's lover writer George Sands, known for wearing men's clothes and living a Bohemian lifestle. I enjoy Liszt's music, too.

I made an error which I need to correct--blame it on my sketchy memory from yeas ago. doh! George Sand took Chopin as one of her lovers, as the other orger stated, NOT Lizst although she and Lizst were great friends and corresponded with each other on a regular basis. But her romance was with Chopin. Of course, "George" was the pseudonym she adopted in order to get her writing published initially in a male-dominated field. Excuse the misinformation.

I can verify that! As a conservatory trained pianist, Franz Liszt wrote some of the most demanding pieces for the piano and many of his pieces required larger than normal hands to play it well and do it justice. He was quite the technical magician! Franz Liszt and Chopin understood the soul of the piano.

So true!, his pieces are so technical and varied. That it makes my head spin! he is one of those composers who if you can play him proper, you know you are good.
