Artists whose careers are done, but still don't have an official "greatest hits/best of" compilation released?

My iPod was on shuffle and a random 112 song came played.... and I said to myself, "how come these guys still ain't have a greatest hits/best of album"? Not that they are anythnig special as artists, (they are kinda mediocre IMO) but I'm just saying.

Their career is over (and has been for years), but they should at least release a last "best of" or something. What other artists can you think of that should at least have some type of "best of" compilation out, now that their career has ended (or is ending)?

^^The Time was on Warner Brothers. Pandemonium is the only album that was released on Paisley Park, although under Reprise.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I don't think Kris Kross has one, not sure. But I have 2 of the 3 albums they released, so I don't need it. lol

Yeah Lil Kim doesnt either, or Foxy Brown who both have about 5 albums under their belt. Wonder if it has to do with the record labels themselves, the money made off of greatest hit compilations these days...which not alot of people buy into those. Especially with artist careers who havent been making much music lately.

112 Greatest hits would prob be:

Cupid

Only You (remix)

Your Letter

Peachers and Cream

Dance Wit Me

Anywhere

It's Over Now

Caught Up (great album cut)

Come See Me

Hot N Wet (remix)

There some other ones too but I cant remember them

Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

Surprisingly, AC/DC still doesn't have a proper greatest hits disk released in North America (not counting Irn Man 2 or Who Made Who).

Not that their career is over...just intersteing that after 35 years no single or double disk comp on the market.

I own the following:

Aaliyah - I Care 4 U

Everything Is Possible: The Very Best of Living Colour

The Essential Fishbone

Living Colour's and Fishbone's careers aren't done yet so they shouldn't be included here anyway.

True they don't record 'hits' anymore, but Living Colour and Fishbone still release studio albums. Living Colour's latest came out in 2009 and Fishbone released a new album last year.

Aaliyah's I Care 4 U came out in 2002.
