Former Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland is turning to acting full time.

The singer-actress, who spent a season judging the U.K. version of The X Factor, has been tapped to star in a comedy pilot at BET.

The Bernie Mac Show's Warren Hutcherson will executive produce What Would Dylan Do (working title), which will be written and co-executive produced by Julian Breece (BET's Buppies).

Rowland, whose acting credits include episodes of American Dreams, The Hughleys and Girlfriends, will star as Dylan, a struggling L.A.-based relationship blogger who lives with her best friend Cherise (Gabrielle Dennis, The Game) and wealthy and divorced roommate Brooke (Melanie Liburd, Strike Back).

Brandon Scott, who played intern Dr. Ryan Spalding on Grey's Anatomy, will play Dylan's neighbor and Cherise's boyfriend Ryan.

If ordered to series, Dylan would join a BET programming roster that includes Reed Between the Lines, The Game and Let's Stay Together, as well as upcoming entries Second Generation Wayans and The Real Husbands of Hollywood.

Always liked this girl, good voice, but besides some dance hits in Europe, it's not working.

I like Kelly-wish her luck even with BET

I wish she get away from BET, mainstream, Viacom, selling sex and strive to be HER OWN stage personality, artist etc because I think she is better than that. Ive watched alot of interviews she has done and she seems like a sincerely sweet fun person although she talks alot of bullshit when it comes to DC.

I don't watch a lot of TV. In fact, I've gone weeks without really watching anything. The internet is much more entertaining lol.

The only B.E.T show i ever watched was he Unle Rukus show

I had no idear B.E.T still made shitty shows

I LOVE HER.

She's gorgeous, and I LOOOOOVE her voice.

I just don't always like her songs. I wish she chose better songs.

From my understanding she signed on to do some other show, which is causing BET to hault production.
