I'm an adult now but I've always respected that Deborah Harry and Blondie weren't shot down and called corny for recording Rapture, It was accepted right out the box. If there was some backlash against her, I've never heard about it hell they may have got more flack for Heart of Glass. Much respect to KRS-One, we must learn.

Aww, I had forgotten all about this song. music We are in dire need of a 90's Hip Hop appreciation thread. I posted an AZ vid last night, but hasn't been shown any love yet. confused Everytime I hear something from that area, it takes me back to middle and high school. Those days were so carefree....cloud9

Well you appreciate it now, that's all that matters. thumbs up! I feel the same whenever I hear the music and see the performances of The Rat Pack, or Earth, Wind & Fire, or Otis Redding..the list goes on. I wasn't even born when any of them were at their height, releasing great music to the airwaves and giving immaculate live performances that has become a lost art in this day and age. nod
