What a Gem, love those two. I saw Nick Ashford at Cornell hospital 2 months before he died. He look great I had no idea he was in his 70s and suffering from cancer R.I.P.

I've never heard of Champale, but I don't drink alcohol.

For 65 years straight, the #1 genre in music, selling wise, was rock n' roll worldwide. Last year (2017) in June, it got de-crowned by hip hop. Hip hop is the #1 genre. It's hip hop - rock - country - pop or pop - country. ~ Pras

It was a 70's- early 80's fad. My dad used to buy it for my mom back in the day. She would have her girlfriends over while they sat and sipped it in cute glasses with their cigarettes, chit chatting about work and the scandalous goings on at the salon where they all got their hair done falloff

I think Pink Champale was their favorite, followed by another drink called the "Black Cow" (yes, as in that cocktail made infamous by the Steely Dan song of the same name) lol
