^ Cool track w/Maurice

The reason both those albums sound like they do has a lot to do with David Foster's production and his enlistment of a slew of top flight L.A. studio musicians.

I also enjoy the album prior to those two, the concept album Remote Control, produced by Todd Rundgren

I'm guessing Todd was the go to guy for polishing up absurdist rock groups like them, XTC and The Psychedelic Furs - another fave group - so that a kid like me would become familiar with their music. Reading Todd Wiki page, damn I'm impressed with how prolific he is and much of his touch I've listened to by proxy. I'll just sit back and listen for now, peace. wink

Todd was certainly a workhorse at times.

The Remote Control album is almost too Todd.

In places it sounds a lot like his album instead of The Tubes.
