RHCP where in dark day's when they recorded this. Anthony was crazy fucked up on drugs, Dave Navarro was about to leave the band, John Fruciante was still gone & fucked up on drugs.

I won't be surprised if some youngbuck comes along and say RHCP which would be fine if you like that version better. I remember last time this thread came up someone got a little pissy because the majority of the org obviously like the Ohio Players better and accused the org of only liking music from 40 years ago. The Ohip Players version is clearly better but RHCP did a decent cover of it. Don't laugh at my funk
