You guys say the Jacksons only care bout money, so why the fuck would they care whether you think they are good brothers and sisters or not? Shut up already.

This is Jermaine's song, and all of a sudden we are talking about Michael Jackson sleeping with little kids. MJ fans cannot have anyone talking about any Jackson other than Michael.

YOU people can't have it both ways. This IS Jermaine's song.; HOWEVER, the song was purportedly written about Michael. So HTF, are you going to complain when one of you people bring up Michael? You defenders of the Jacksons are so hypocritial. You want to throw the negativity toward Michael, especially you, ; yet, you whine and bitch when people bring up things that the Jacksons have done. Again, you defenders can NOT have it both ways. Btw, ALL of the negativity recently about Janet and Co.has been THEIR fault. No MJ fan made this fiasco up. Janet and Co. were the conspirators who started ALL of this. The media did NOT make this fiasco up, Janet and co. did. Therefore, roll with the punches, sweetie and stop complaining when the negativity that you defenders always instigate, turns to the people who are the ones trying to overthrow a loved ones estate ONLY because they weren't included in the will. Don't forget THAT is really what ALL of this is about. Don't try to deflect what the REAL issuues are. You and Scorp turned this thread into a Michael Jackson thread, although it was about Jermaine's song. Grow up because your little trick of trying to turn this into your agenda, to throw negativity on Michael, will not work with me. As you said, this thread is about Jermaine's song, yet you and others like you, tried to turn into a thread to throw negativity on Michael. Stop your obsession with Michael Jackson. You are not a fan. Stick to something that you know about. You are not knowledgeable enough to participate in discussions about Michael. Do you actually know how pathetic you look obsessing over a man that you are not a fan of? Finally, even you know that if this song had nothing to do with Michael, your ass (pun intended) wouldn't even be in the thread. That only further cements YOUR obsessiion with Michael Jackson.

I really wish you would use better English because I can't really understand what you are saying. But I guess it only highligihts your erratic behaviour you present most of the time, including page one of this thread

Janet is full of shit, who else is she singing about? Prince's father in Purple Rain? Her selective memory "forgot" about the album "Scandal" A & M wanted her to release.

Anyways I always liked Jermaine's song too, but the version where he sings "you changed your ways" instead of the shade crap, so that way it sounds like a breakup song instead.

[Edited 8/10/12 9:13am]

She really is...

at least Jermaine was honest about who he was singing about...

this was a song that needed 2 b done michael distanced himself from his family and just totally shut them down cuz he thought he was the big bad superstar then when all the charges came who was there michael?? your family they was in court on days michael wasnt even there.michael acted as if he hated being black til white america turned on him he even went out and bought some white kids

Yea I would distance myself from leeches to... greedy bastards. Michael didnt forget nothing. He spent his entire life paying for the family... thats bullshit

hmmm He could have simply asked, instead of believing what he apparently read in the tabloids.

Thats why I was angry at Janet with those interviews after Michael passed. If they claim to be so close to Michael why are they unaware of SIMPLE things family should ALREADY know?

Thats no excuse... Jermaine should have known that and to be honest I think he did know he just mentioned that in the song to futher tarnish Michaels public image, FUCK HIM

You were clearly not talking solely about the contents of the song.

I think you need serious help with this unhealthy obsession.

'You defenders'.

Please do not categorise me, nor label me as that.

Whilst you take pride and depend on being labeled and known as an MJ fan, I do not want to be labeled as a fan of any artist or as part of a group surrounding anything as trivial as this.

If you had a family memeber who was accused of what mj was, would you trash them during a trial?

and, regardless of what our personal feelings are on the matter, no one can say with 100% certainty that mj was guilty.

Please elaborate...

It may have been a bit trashy of Jermaine to do this - but if this was what he was feeling at the time I don't see this from being any different from:

Eminem's - Kim

Madonna's - Oh father

All criticising their ‘loved’ ones

Yes.. But, just because people do it, does not make it a good idea.

Why not? Don't listeners want to get a sense of what the artist is going through at that time of their life? It would be really boring if their music didn't reflect it and everyone will end up sounding like pitbull - party, party, drink, drink - nothing of real substance or honesty

Even MJ did 'DS'.

We all know why people are highly critical of Jermaine's song - I just think it's double standards as usual.

SoulAlive

In the late 80s when Janet Jackson was thinking about a follow-up to Control,a record executive at her label (John McClain) came up with a ridiculous idea.He wanted the follow-up album to be called Scandal, which would focus on all the scandals and rumors surrounding her family. She got pissed and refused to do it.

It was a bad idea when it was suggested to Janet, and it was a bad idea when Jermaine did it.You don't betray your own family members that way no no no!

We all do, "dumb shit", that's a given. However, as much as Michael disliked his father's ways, I don't believe he would of written a song as blantant as the one Jermaine wrote about Michael. What goes on within a family, good or bad should stay within the walls of that family. Those who like to broadcast their family's dirty laundry, are just being opportunistic, and self-centered. They get off on the the drama it creates. The same goes for the followers of that drama.
