Might as well get this one out of the way, which is how I was introduced to the group...

...Majors and Generals

...Chalkhills and Children

...My Bird Performs

As you've said in the past, one day they'll get respect.

Seems like it is over for them but they were amazingly consistent, not many bands maintain the level of quality that they did throughout their career.

The riff in "Stupidly Happy" really does make me feel stupidly happy.

I love the energy in "Punch and Judy" plus the lyrics are great:

"Complicated Game" makes me feel a couple of strong emotions. The music kind of scares me and the lyrics make me sad:

"Thanks for Christmas" is one of my favourite Christmas songs:

"Snowman" is just great:

I'm also a huge fan of Blur and there are three Andy Partridge produced tracks on the new box set ("Coping," Sunday Sleep" and "Seven Days").

biggrin Actually, those two together would make an interesting, double-edged yuletide mix.....

Lord, I miss these guys. sigh

This one always sends me soaring...

One of my favourite album openers ever...

...And a demo from their first "Dukes of Stratosphear" project. Can't find the released version on youtube, but it cranks!!... headbang
