Stevie Wonder and wife to divorce

From TMZ:

Stevie Wonder
Files for Divorce

Stevie Wonder has just filed for divorce ... TMZ has learned.

In the divorce docs obtained by TMZ, the music icon cites irreconcilable differences. According to the papers, Wonder has been separated from wife Kai Millard Morris since October 2009.

Wonder filed the divorce papers using his legal name, Stevland Morris, and signed with two fingerprints.

In the docs, filed by disso-queen Laura Wasser, Wonder asks for joint custody of the couple's two boys, ages 10 and 7.

In the docs, Wonder agrees to pay both spousal and child support.

Although Wonder amassed his fortune long before he tied the knot with Kai back in 2001, some assets will be split ... though the papers indicate the amount has yet to be determined.

Damn again Stevie? Oh well. Hope they are able to sustain some type of relationship for the kids' sake.

And what is with the highlight of "Stevie's signature" as if they are making fun or something? That's not right.

They seemed pretty tight when I met them in 2004, but things happen, plus Stevie has a bit a rep when it comes to the ladies...

He's like my biggest musical influence, equal or even more so than Prince, but I'm just sayin'...

Isn't she the one who sang IN the record itself?

And yep, Steveland struggled through sex addiction, even though it wasn't a coined term at the time lol

Yeah. Maybe that's a reason he kept most of that shit hidden because he's got an image to protect. Knowing Stevie, he was always spreading himself thin like his idol Ray Charles. wink I wouldn't be surprised if he has a longterm mistress right now. Matter of fact, I kept reading he does have a longtime mistress somewhere in L.A.

I remember seeing the BBC documentary from the "Hotter Than July" era that was posted here. When I saw the interaction between him and his back-up singers, I thought he was mad flirty with those women lol

Yeah I know, to the average person, Stevie wouldn't strike as someone who would do things like that... but he was much like his other blind peers Ray Charles and Clarence Carter, without the domestic abuse on Clarence's part.
