green day made a surprise appearance at reading which was shown on the bbc last night,they

really had the place rocking,it wasnt on the main stage but in one of those big tents which

seemed to make an even better atmosphere, the crowd of young kids went crazy when they

played basket case, i wouldnt consider myself a massive green day fan by any means but i have

to say that this gig made the other acts look poor by comparison.
