Texas (x2)

Both feature Buddy Miles on lead vocals.
The first from the debut album (The Trip doesn't count no no no! ) of The Electric Flag with Mike Bloomfield on guitar.
The next is from the second album by The Buddy Miles Express (half the album produced by Jimi Hendrix) with Jim McCarty on guitar.

Backatcha x2

Bangin' Finland TV performance clip.
Conspicuous by his absence (to anyone familiar with Buddy's band at that time) is keyboardist Andre Lewis.
(Zappa, Maxayn, Mandre, among others)

I asked guitarist Marlo Henderson (brother @ 5:14 playing the Gibson SG) about this.
He said for some reason there was no Leslie cabinet for Andre's B-3 in the tv studio so he ended up in the booth mixing the band.

Another one from that taping...

Cool cover of the Clarence Carter classic.
