I often call Wynonnie, Roy and Big Joe the first real rock and roll heroes.

I discovered him upon finding this compilation of risque R&B songs that were banned.

Dinah's "Long John Blues" and his "You Kept Sitting On It" had me cracking up. Humor aside, listening to him gives me the impression that whoever rolls up on him, better be willing to lose and arm or a leg, he sounds like he could raise hell just because he felt like it.
