Mariah Carey did a song with Nicki Minaj several years ago....I wonder why she no longer likes her? Could she be pissed at Nicki for collaborating with Madonna earlier this year? Or more likely,is she afraid that the younger,sexy Minaj will steal the show? After all,Niki is really "hot" right now.

Oh please....she was on Twitter last week,trying to "lobby" the producers to hire her pal Lenny Kravitz.She clearly doesn't want Niki Minaj on board.She wants Lenny instead,because he doesn't pose a threat.

I havnt watched AI in ages - because the beginning shows are entertaining ... but later ... i think the show gets boring . Who wants to sing some "wannabe" sing "dont let the sun go down on me" as a reggae tune or whatever they conjure up ....

I would rather see some rejects and laugh with steven tyler or Randy etc ...

I am a howard stern show fan also - but the same thing with that show - i kinda tuned out altho i did catch alittle last night of a re run ...

Believe it or not that was just 3 years ago. I had actually forgotten about this

redundant r&b/rap collabo that Mariah does. As far as the whole AI thing, i'm

not a Nikki Minaj fan at all but hell if they can have JLo then why not Nikki. It's

probably even a calculated move to get more viewers.

I just love it every time I hear about a judge quitting, especially one of the original ones, because that means the show keeps getting closer and closer to it's eventual end.

Randy Jackson is staying at the judge's table on "American Idol" ... after negotiations with Enrique Iglesias fizzled out.

Sources tell TMZ ... Jackson is very close to signing his deal ... after producers initially tried to move the dawg away from the judge's table and use him as a "mentor." We're told Jackson wasn't too pleased with those plans.

But now, with Iglesias seemingly out of the picture ... and auditions starting in a just a few days ... producers need to get a famous ass in the seat ... and they know Jackson can get the job done.

As for the other 3 seats -- Mariah Carey is already locked in ... and sources tell us negotiations with Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj could be finalized any minute.
