He's been playing longer than that I know, but he's still my cat. He's just been on some questionable stuff lately.

Personally, I think he should release a solo guitar album.

Some of his playing is decent but he ain't what I call a talented guitarist. He only knows three chords probably.

Agreed. I will always respect Dre as an emcee and his overall versatility. I've never thought of him as a talented guitarist or anything like that, but I love his passion.

I don't think he picked up a guitar SINCE 2003 by the sounds of that!

That guitar sounds almost a half tone out of tune. No wonder it's fucked up. Never had a chance LOL!

I think maybe someone in the production line messed up and put that guitar solo in when he was just messing in the studio, possibly even to a different beat. SURELY...........

He's still killing every verse though, so I don't really care about whether his guitar playing is hot or not.

It sounds like a 41000 hz wav file imported as 48000. Let's blame the engineers!

This is one of the worst recorded solo's that I've ever heard, regardless of the instrument. He should stick to rapping. The same goes for that Wayne character. These guys are not musicians or singers. It takes years and years of practice to become an accomplished musician. I started playing guitar when I was 5yrs of age. I'm now 44, and I'm still not where I want to be. There's always room to grow. If these guys were serious about becoming musicians they'd drop out of the spotlight for years to work on their learning and chops.

I was digging it from about the 2:54 mark to guitar solo. I don't care for Rick Ross so I understood why I didn't care for his parts.

Andre's lyrics were in there but that whack ass guitar solo made me drop my damn apple sauce.

That's not a metaphor. I literally dropped the container of apple sauce that I was eating!

I love Andre but he been on some,,, shit as of late.

What I heard doesn't even sound like it was meant as a true solo. It sounds like he was just fiddling with it as the song was ending. Y'all are acting like it was a major feature of the song. it was just a couple of seconds at the end. Now, if there was more to it-- maybe a video where he's acting like he's a serious guitar player-- then that's something different. That didn't show on my computer.

Did it suck ass? I guess so, but the negative response doesn't fit the deed. The song was cool and his rapping was good.

I think it's awesome whoever wants to play guitar.. any genre. But if they are gonna do it.. fucking play! don't play the same chords over & over posing with the guitar. ALA Lil Wayne & even Andre!

at least Lauryn hill admitted she wasn't a good guitar player when she played the same chords for 2 hours in her unplugged
