Great episode .....Never knew there was 5 members of the group or Florence Ballard was a temporary replacement for a pregnant Wanda Young on tour

RIP Gladys Horton... Not to take away from Wanda Young but I preferred Glady's voice.

I just watched this episode online. Man what an interesting piece on these ladies.

They were beautiful women too. I loved Wanda's voice on Don't Miss With Bill

and the Hunter Gets Captured By The Game. A lot of people tend to blame

their rise and fall on the Supremes but as you can see by this episode they

didn't have any tv exposure and not many outlets were playing r&b. They

didn't even have a face. Personal problems plagued a few of the members

so you had members running in and out of the group. It's good to see them

get some recognition from their community. I hope someone will fight to help

these ladies get the royalties they deserve. I'm not sure if we can count on Mr.

Gordy to do this.

Yeah Diana and the Supremes didn't sabotage the fortunes of the Marvelettes, Motown did. Katherine Anderson said that if Berry had give each artist in Motown a million and a half dollars in checks, they wouldn't live in poverty.
