You’re clearly not understanding the point being made, which is that without Joe’s relentless pursuit for the Jackson 5 to succeed they wouldn’t have made it. A 10year old MJ will have never gone to Barry Gordy on his own accord.

true.
but the truth is another point too.
If Jackson family did not have such a talented and charismatic child, I very much doubt that Gordy would be interested in the contract. Michael was always pronounced the star of this family, other children are not nearly as talented and charismatic.
It is a fact (you love that word, right?) lol

Katherine Jackson
PLOT CRUMBLES
Returns to L.A.

[img:$uid]http://ll-media.tmz.com/2012/07/25/072512-jackson-gma-launch-v2-1.jpg[/img:$uid]

Michael Jackson's conspiratorial siblings couldn't withstand the onslaught of bad publicity ... because Randy Jackson just revealed that his mother Katherine is finally returning to L.A. -- proof the Jackson scheme has completely fallen apart.

Katherine has been holed up in Arizona for the past 10 days ... after she was effectively kidnapped by Randy and several other Jackson siblings in what appears to be a scheme to pressure Katherine to try and overthrow the executors of the Michael Jackson estate.

But moments ago, Randy -- the family ringleader -- appeared on "Good Morning America" ... and announced his mother was finally coming home ... just one day after Tito BAILED on the plot.

It's unclear if this will affect TJ Jackson's plan to seek temporary guardianship of MJ's kids.

This sounds like good news. Now maybe Katherine and the children can get back to living their lives, without the media circus that the others created.

When the hell did Randy (the forgotten Jackson) become the spokesperson for the family? He's so full of shit, I swear, when Robin asked him "Is it all about the money?" He said everything except, "No, it's not." rolleyes

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

Doesn't really seem that much needed rest was ever an issue. As Randy has shared, the real underlying issue is the behavior of the "Estate." She is about to get some stress just as soon as she discovers what was really going on in the situation.

I am a little confused though, because I was trying to play devil's advocate in my head to understand why they were doing this, but there are some things I don't understand:

Is it true that they were asking for the kids passports when they entered the house? If they were planning on taking them out of the country...why? Why kidnap Katherine? To change her mind about challenging the executors? Let's say that they do and win, what's the point, because they won't get any money anyways.

Also, if they were to win the challenge, who would be the executors of the estate? Is there, really, any solid proof that Michael Jackson didn't sign the current will that they are using? Where did they find the will? I would think that being 50 and all and having 3 kids he would have taken more care to make sure his kids and estate are ok, especially since he finally started kicked a lot of shady people out of his circle.

If the will, is a fake, where did it come from? Did the Jacksons think that this would go over well and didn't consider what would happen if the plan failed? Why didn't they just let the kids talk to their grandmother? That way they wouldn't have suspected anything and there would have been no need for Paris to start blasting stuff on Twitter. Are they just stupid and didn't think things through?

Who is Trent? Has he been the one taking care of the kids the entire time?

What's going to happen during Thanksgiving?

TJ Goes To Court For Guardianship

[img:$uid]http://ll-media.tmz.com/2012/07/25/0724-tj-blanket-paris-prince-jackson-2.jpg[/img:$uid]

Lawyers for TJ Jackson are at an L.A. courthouse right now in an attempt to get temporary guardianship of Michael Jackson's three kids ... TMZ has learned.

We broke the story TJ -- Tito's 34-year-old married son -- has been acting like a quasi-parent to Paris, Prince, and Blanket.

TJ is basing his bid on the fact that Katherine Jackson has been MIA and not providing proper supervision of the kids.

As we reported, Michael's three kids all love TJ and want him to become the temporary guardian.

In addition, lawyers for the Michael Jackson estate are in court and will support TJ's bid to become temporary guardian.

I'd say it's opinion rather than fact to state 'Michael was the star of the family and the other children are not nearly as talented and charismatic’. It maybe hard for you to digest, but there are some people who do not rate his music or talent. (For what it’s worth I thought he was a genius, I like some of his tunes, have most his albums, but didn’t like much of his personality and didn’t really find most of his music to be relatable)

But I’m sure you are being sarcastic here because you can't possibly be silly enough not to know the difference between what is a stone cold fact and person’s subjective opinion.

And yes I love the truth, but in the words of the of the greatest living actor, Jack Nicholson (my opinion – see the difference?) some people ‘can’t handle the truth’

The real reason for them to set Ms. Katherine free; don't let them give it to you twisted. Can you imagine her getting home and someone else was in charge of her grandchildren? That is the kind of stuff that could make the sweetest among us go sour on someone.

While I think that statement is diminished by the careers of all but Janet, I too have a hard time relating to most MJ beyond Off The Wall - some of the greatest music ever.

I made a familiar words for you, that you had better understand what I'm trying to say .... lol
it is you always try to speculate on the word "fact", substituting just "opinion." I personally think that MJ would still be a star (with Joe or not), because he has obvious talent and artistry from early childhood.
And yes, there are facts of objective reality, but there's just an opinion, which is based on personal perceptions and feelings. .
Although I'm sure that 90% of people in the world believe MJ talented person, despite the relevance to his personality or his music.
