Anita Baker...A Triumphant Return There has been an official announcement of a tour. A date is already scheduled for the Bay Area. I have yet to hear new material, and after years and years and years and years of speculation, it's kind of a surprise. Would anybody check her out live after all these years? Is anybody excited or looking forward to her return and getting caught up back in the rapture? Will she fit todays radio formats? "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

I saw Miss Baker in December in the Chicago area and I enjoyed it immensely. She sounds better to me today than she did years ago. I can't wait for a new album. I own all her stuff and I am not really concerned with the way she will fit into today's music scene. There are those of us who will always love and support her. | |

She did a political event in Detroit around November or December and was TOP NOTCH! She is a wonderful DIVA from Detroit.
