Your first reaction to the end of Black or White

I was like, mommy what is he doing? And she goes, he's crazy!

I wanted to watch it a second time and tried to, but the tape got turned off before he could break anything!

Anyways I fell in love with it years later when I rediscovered it and got the Dangerous and HIStory home videos, and read an interesting analysis on an MJ site about it. It didn't hit me right away, but I couldn't stop looking at him during all that and I guess I thought it was hot though I didn't like him in a superficial way for years and it totally felt pure until all you online peeps corrupted my virgin eyes smile

Now I see it in a different light. I think of how angry and hurt he was, especially in the last few years considering what he was put through and imagine him wanting to break things out of anger. I tried watching it again the other night and just got real emotional, I guess I'm an angry person in general too and was projecting too much....

I dont like the moment with unzip his pants ... confused
But I can say that the dance of the panther - the best dance in the history of music videos (with 2Bad from Ghost close second). None of the singers are not able to outshine in dance Mr. Jackson when he was in good shape.

I prefer Smooth Criminal to Thriller for sure. I had a Thriller toy in the 80's though I remember being so scared of the video (and of him for 2 years) back in the 80's though when I finally saw it in full, I loved it, but Smooth Criminal seemed to grab me more when I discovered that in the 90's (I missed that in the 80's unless I forgot I saw it, but I remember seeing Bad then)

I was like, hey it's the Home Alone dude, yay and loved how he was misbehaving!!! And I liked the diversity and morphing faces....and I was surprised that michael looked different from a few years before (I was 8 when the video came out, but don't remember a time I didn't know who he was) but thought I was too young to get it, and didn't make fun or anything though I was confused and just was like, it's the same michael I have on my other tape (I had a little bit of Thriller era stuff) and thought he looked nice when he was on the Statue of Liberty, but at the time, liked guys around my age if any.

Shucks my mom is a big MJ fan and we had "Moonwalker" on VHS. I know that mini-movie-music video like the back of my hand because she had me watching it so many times. lol Amazingly, I didn't notice his appearance. Shucks, in my eyes as a kid, MJ was such a king of an artist, I never realized until I got a little older, well into middle school that he and Janet were brother and sister. lol I know, just go ahead and laugh at me now. lol At least I can admit it.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I didn't realize janet was his sis either when I saw pay per view ads for Poetic Justice in 1994 though I wondered too, though once I saw a little blurb about her defending mj, I realized she was....after all, there was a girl in my class with the last name Jackson shortly after Black or White and I was joking that she was related to MJ. I look back on my childhood and had so many moments before becoming a diehard that I totally acted like a fan, and was blind to it, not realizing mj references many times, a lot of really freaky coincidences too with timing.

I didn't see Moonwalker till the early 00's, I know I'm late, but I went insane over it and watched it for years too, I would get so hyper and Bad era is my favourite. As a little kid, I was familiar with some OTW and Thriller vids if played at home, and I remember seeing the Bad video and EO, nothing else in the late 80's unless I forgot, that's why I think I was surprised though it didn't bother me, I just thought I was too young to get it, plus I was into other things though I did enjoy him if played or if liking something and not realizing it's him till later on. I became a real fan in the HIStory era through rediscovering him, and catching up on what I missed out on, and through the new material of course.

highfive Bad is the ultimate and best era of MJ IMO. I know Thriller is a classic and basically the era that defined his height of popularity...but to me, the Bad era was MJ at his absolute best. The concert footage is insane. All of the music videos were great and every single track on that album is lengendary. I had a huge crush on him at this time as well as a kid. These are the days when video premieres and award shows were MUST SEE'S and so exciting. nod Gosh, I miss those days.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

During Thriller he was a boy, with Bad he became A MAN!!!! I found that during HIStory, HIStory and Thriller were my favourite eras though I liked stuff from the others too and loved some
Bad footage I had though little, but was still building my collection, but once I got around to buying and discovering more Bad stuff other than the HIStory tracks and few videos, I went INSANE and I was 16 then, sometime between BOTDF and Invincible, and from then on, all the celeb guys I liked were way older than me smile MITM and Speed Demon were my favourite parts of the video, what about yours?
