The Jamey Tate All-Stars (featuring Ms Trina) For reasons i'll explain later (the good part of the story), I had to find some live music Wednesday night. Scouring my usual haunts I didn't find anything I immediately recognized. However I noticed that a very good keyboard player (Jeff Babko) who I had seen/heard in the past was playing with a band called The Jamey Tate All-Stars at The Baked Potato. This was advertised as a CD release party for Jamey Tate's album roTATEd. Knowing a bit about Jeff Babko's background and the venue, I knew he wouldn't have time to waste playing with anyone but top flight musicians. I've always had good luck when meeting people i've come in contact with on the Org and this was no exception. She's an extremely intelligent and beautiful person and it was a wonderful evening of great conversation and fine music. Maybe if you'd visit the homeland occasionally you could be the 1st PARTY!!! "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

Neal didn't tell y'all we jammed with the band. All kidding aside... great guy and a true gentleman as we already knew. I really appreciated Neal willingness to share with me one of his music haunts on a mid-week workday. As he mentioned, good music and conversation... a very cozy club and we were front dead center to listen to Mr. Tate and his mates. I look forward to reciprocating the invite. Harle you are always welcomed and one day it shall happen.
