I think it should be Aretha, Mariah, and Celine. All 3 of them have or had amazing voices aand are all icons in their own right. Also I could see some Mariah and Celine beef possibly happening

Remember the guy on youtube who does all those mock-ups of the Patti-Aretha reality show with all those other singers chiming in? Can you imagine what his next batch of videos could look like with these two on the judging panel of A.I. ??? I'm telling you that's just comedy gold just waiting to happen

I'm a fan of Fantasia, but have never really paid much attention to Idol. Still I think she certainly would give Paula Adbul a run for her money in the emotional rollercoaster-could be slightly cray cray department that people seem to like for that show. Goodness, then there's that powder puff baby voice .

honestly i think its nuts to even want to save this show at this point, there are enough of these shows, and honestly in a dead industry, do we really need more "talent" out there doing the same music that the rest of industry is doing? cause that is all that this show turns out. So to have a legend like aretha, or mariah or celine sit down and actually BS these contestants is really pathetic, and to have someone like Fantasia up there, would be like a reality show gone wild, trainwreck speaking to trainwrecks "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

Exit? They were kicked to the curb, one can only hope that show will be too. Nobody should be watching FOX anyways... unless you are one of them "ditto" lightweights.

LaBelleOfTheBall2 I believe is her YT name. Got2BReal is the name of the series. I would attempt to put the YT vid up but that shit never works for me LOL!

Here it is NONE of these shows are serious about finding talent, especially when we are talking about who should judge it now, face it the show is all about the judges they are the ratings at this point. Steven and Jlo saved AI from being cancelled but lets be real AI hasn't turned anyone relevant out in eons so these shows are BS I never hear talk about contestants, I hear talk about what a judge did or said , whether it's Jlo or SSteven or Randy blah blah blah, it's ratings and the judges they need to admit this. People tuned in to hear Simon and Paula fight or Simon trash someone, or that other with Howard stern same shit, and bringing Britney on the other was ratings, even the Voice who cares the only time I hear about that show is when xtina wears a hot outfit showing her rack. So these shows are history "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

The show should have never been created. Andy is a four letter word.

Really! Letting the audience vote for the one with the most talent, who's stupid idea was this?

It was already done in the 1980s with "Star Search" and it was just as boring. Andy is a four letter word.

You know we're really showing our age up in here
After Star Search, I just mainly remember his video and him singing,
"SU-GAH DON'T BITE.... !"
all powerful and full throttle, like he was mad at somebody.
You know he also became a daddy too, & he and his partner managed to adopt a newborn (it's damned tough, the adoption demand for infants!). Mr. Sam has definitely made a very nice life for himself

I remember that. But at least with "Star Search", they had a variety of competitions besides just some singer standing up there singing a boring slow song. They even had a band competition, even though the bands were always boring and most of the time they were doing country. The audience was always filled with either old people or families. It was definitely geared towards older people. It certainly wasn't a "Soul Train" or "American Bandstand" by no means. That's why it trips me out when I see shows such as "American Idol" being so successful with young people. Hell, back in the day, we used to laugh at "Star Search" because it was dull but young people in the 2000s went absolutely crazy over a similar show like "American Idol". Like I've said many times before, when the 1990s began, folks' tastes started going backwards instead of forwards. Andy is a four letter word.

Mr. Sam has definitely made a very nice life for himself His version of Always/The Bells is probably one of the best male vocals I have ever heard. He had to be sipping honey and Halls for a Month after that. He had to blow a lung out !
