Pitbull the artist?

It seems like I see or hear Pitbull everywhere.

My question is........why? Where did this cat come from?

He's well dressed, even if he might be a little too "bulky" for the suits he wears.

Uncle Luke and Lil Jon are largely answerable to mankind for the ear pollution caused by Pitbull. confused

I agree. And if by "bulky", U mean his tight pants with awesome bulge, then me likey. Seriously, it is a nice change of pace to see a "rapper", not dressed like a thug.

If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in!

Seriously, he's like a plague that just doesnt go away. And producers put him on a gazillion different tracks to remix when he can't RAP like at ALL... It just doesnt make any sense. I would rather listen to Rosanne Barr yodeling through a megaphone all day long than listen to one more weak ass rhyme from this piece of shit.

Change it one more time..

I won't argue with you there, but let me put it this way; THIS man can WEAR a suit:

He can wear a suit, but it's the face that makes me gag.

He's almost like a deliberate parody on the douchebags that you see in night clubs. lol

I think his popularity has to do with many young males being able to identify themselves with him. You don't have to be talented, you don't have to be good-looking, you don't even have to do well financially - it's enough if you simply present yourself as an "alpha male" and act like everyone around you must think you're the shit. I greatly dislike him as a performer, but I think he has a smart image. It doesn't make me think very highly of the times that we are living through though. confused

He is anything but an artist. Tied in with P doo doo.. J Low, Little talent Wayne and other no talents in that crowd. His duets with J Low were particularly painful. Just the latest corporate rapper to be promoted and disposed of in a few years. . He is tied in with all the corporate crap, pushing soda booze and other garbage in South America etc.

I know but folks thought I was talking about dogs so I used "artist" in the title.

I agree. This is how music has been since the mid 90's or so, people listen to those they can relate to more, and why people like Britney and J LO became successful.
