K.T. Oslin "80's Ladies" [1987 country]

We were the girls of the 50's. (whistle a la la lah)
Stoned rock and rollers in the 60's
And more than our names got changed
As the 70's slipped on by.
Now we're 80's ladies.
There ain't been much these ladies ain't tried.

There's a full minute of set up on the music video if you want to skip to the song 1:09

KT made some off the cuff remarks about Reba and Alabama on an awards show, and her career never recovered.

Here KT and Reba play off the feud:

KT saying Reba had a wonderful run seems to have rubbed people the wrong way, and she said it a couple times that night.

This clip has her saying it again when she wins Song Of The Year, and performing "Hold Me" from the album This Woman. What a voice!

Reba had probably won the female categories a few years in a row, but the comment sounded like "you're over, I'm here now". That's not what KT meant and Reba never took it like that either.
