Surprisingly,this song was somewhat of a flop when it was released as a single.In the US,it only reached Number 101 on the pop charts,and Number 52 on the R&B charts but you gotta remember,this was in early 1978 when the world was obsessed with disco.Many excellent slow songs and ballads got lost in the shuffle during this era.

I hear this song more these days than I did back in 1978.
