Cher Says New Single Coming in Sep

Cher fans have been anxiously awaiting more details on two projects from the legendary diva: Her new album, which will feature a duet with Lady Gaga, and her tour, which was set for this fall. Now, there's news on both those projects, though not necessarily good news.
On Twitter, Cher writes that the first single from her new album will be out September 4, but it won't be the Gaga duet. She writes, "Duet w/Gaga is Great! Think its 2nd single! 1st 1 is set 4 sept. Its my Fave!"
As for the tour, it appears that it has to be delayed due to some surgery she needs to have on her foot. She writes, "About tour this yr. I broke [my] foot in the '80s, & between Burlesque and falling on thrown hat on stage! I have 2 have minor work done on my foot! It must have time to heal b4 i go running back & forth across stage like [a] crazy teen!"
However, she adds, "We r working on show & its beautiful!" It's unclear how much of a delay to the tour Cher's foot issues will cause. A email sent to her spokesperson was unanswered at press time.

Sadly, I am far more interested in a new Cher album than another album from “singers” fifty years younger who have no range and only perform over backing tracks. | |

 I'm glad to see she's back. Big fan of both  so hopefully the Gaga song is soon after the first. Could you imagine if the Gaga duet got her another big hit

Every now and then in each decade we will get a Cher album. When she's 70, a new Cher album will still be on the horizon. | |
