I am not a 50 cent fan at all, he removed the comments, so he thought better of it later. But his original intention was not to slam people with autism. It isnt newsworthy, but its being dismissive by saying that, as for Frank Ocean, 98% of america dont know who he is, he is meaningless, and who cares that he came out that too isnt newsworthy, and neither is he, he is lucky that his own family knows who he is cause most dont. Its news whether its for a day, a week, a year, a decade. It all depends on what its about; whether its light, trivial, affecting, depressing, uplifting, important... Frank Ocean coming out is news, and Fiftys nonsense is news too. No doubt it will all die down if hasn't already. With Frank theres nothing more to say; there have been numerous celebs commenting in support, and the masses and media are basically saying that in this day and age its no big deal, although privately some may say otherwise. Its obviously a big deal for Frank and his family and gay people, especially when you consider how homophobic, lets face it, the black music, like the hard rock, music scene is. Until a fellow artist, politician, religious leader, or whoever says anything derogative, nobody needs to be brought down a peg or two here. As for Fifty, he's just being plain offensive and nasty and definitely needs to be slapped down until he apologises, which, I gather, he hasn't done yet. And if he does, it will be disingenuous; it wasn't a one word slip up, he meant it, its the view he holds, or at the very least it didn't bother him to be cruel about it.
