BUT

What about Charlie Sheen and Glen Campbell?

And with the way the coverage has been handled you'd think that Ike Turner and Chris Brown, and by some twisted extention black men, are domestic abusers and YOU MUST KNOW!

I suppose that's what the article was getting at.

Charlie Sheen, Glenn Campbell, Ike Turner and Chris Brown all took L's. I know about a double standard, don't make what Chris did any better though.

Didn't Charlie Sheen, Glen Campbell, and Ike Turner go to prison? Maybe not specifically for domestic abuse, but still they did a lot more than Brown did.

Chris Brown is spilling the beans, letting the real deal about record companies and hip hop music be known.

In a recent interview, the R&B singer revealed “record companies are broke and hip hop is dead”. This after Brown explains his video budgets dropped immensely – from about $800K to $50K. Now, Brown is in a rant because he says he’s left with no choice but to use his personal funds to cover the cost for a good music video.

But that’s not all that’s causing Brown to be livid. According to the R&B singer, artists who doesn’t follow record company protocol – like collaborating with up and coming artists – the powers that be won’t keep relevant in the public eye.

Here’s what Chris Brown had to say about today’s music business:

“The music industry is broke, video budgets went from 800K to 50K. I pay to make my videos look good.

You know how they said Hip-Hop is dead, certain sh*t is dead? It’s really dead because nobody believes in the brand anymore.”

Yeah all of them went for drugs. Ike actually had arrests for physical assault and a murder attempt after he shot a 49-year-old man for trespassing in his yard and cursing his then-wife (Margaret Ann Thomas) out for no reason. He also was arrested for interstate transportation of producing forged checks and conspiracy before the Ike & Tina days (he was acquitted). In '74, he was arrested for installing what they called "blue boxes" to make long distance calls without the phone company's permission (he was also acquitted) but they decided to began surveillance. In 1980, a SWAT team invaded his studio finding a hand grenade and cocaine possession (he had seven grams). His other arrests afterwards were cocaine related including the 1990-1991 jail time he served for cocaine trafficking and possession.

If it's so dead then why is he still chasing hip-hop cred???

Is the article real?

And the quickest way to go broke is to start paying for expensive videos up front, off your own dime!

Way to bite the hand that feeds you! He is such a joke, peole keep hyping him and rooting for him (not me, though) and he continues to talk out of his ass. You are rapping now, instead of singing and its terrible, yet now you come and talk about how hip hop is dead when you are capitalizing off of it? He's much dumber than I originally thought.

Only a PUNK ASS would say something is dead when he ain't even that good of a rapper. Again, Chris, why do you love taking so many L's?

I'm just gonna say it, on his tombstone it will read:

Chris Brown:

A person who took many L's.

Talk about context!

This is why you really have to hear what a person says instead of reading it in text, email or blog post. It doesn't sound as bad as it reads.

P.S. He's a DAMN good looking man. The secret of his success:
