I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
Voodoo is so transcendental that Brown Sugar almost seems like
a joke today. This is a cool song but if it ain't on his second lp,
I really don't wanna hear it.
I know I might be the minority here, but I actually prefer Brown Sugar to Voodoo. Brown Sugar is more soulful and Voodoo is more funk and I love both albums, but Brown sugar has a special place in my heart and I can play it over and over again and never get tired while Voodoo isnt the same way for me. But then again it's so hard, I think both albums are transcendental.

Agreed. I love love loveVoodoo, but Brown Sugar is still my favorite. They're the best R&B albums of the '90s and '00s for my money, but I gotta go with the debut in a head-to-head battle.
