Why do you think it's "important" to post it here?
1. it's not life threatening
2. it's not contageous
3. it's not new news
4. it's not music

Plus - who needs conclusive proof, anyhow? MJ has bigger issues than pigment loss.

1.plastic surgery aside, how would you like to be robbed of your culture, and then be accused of doing it on purpose?

2.Fucking stupid statement.so what if it isn't? you wish it was or something? idiot.

3.no it isn't but it's still relevant.

4.it's in the right forum then, (unless the mods want to move it to general discussion.)

Joe public needs proof. You never see these photos in the newspapers and never will.People like to believe he's done this to himself.

As for his 'issues' that is your opinion, shaped by what you read in the media, and you're entitled to it.I prefer not to be brainwashed into believing EVERYTHING they tell me.

These photos look ropey as hell, they are grainy for one thing and could well of been through airbrushing treatment.

That aside what if he did have a skin disrorder he's still surely used plenty of lighteneing creams to level it all out so massively. There was no point he suddenly had a big blotch of white appear (at least in public), his whole shade transformed in tandem. Many true sufferers of vitiligo see MJ as belitting their real problems and issues by using it as an excuse. Not unlike his talking of the American gene mixing as reason for his changing appearance in the documentary...

Plastic surgery aside? That was instrumental in taking away all the facial features of this "culture" he misses so badly.

What's with this thread and the "King Of Pop" one anyway? Nobody here was even saying "Self proclaimed..." or "skin bleacher...".

XXX

I have known people with vitiligo. However none of them had it to the degree that Michael Jackson claims to have. I'm not an expert by any means on this matter; but I've never heard of such a severe case. And how almost over night someone can go from 'black to white'.(no pun intended)
I've seen patches here and there on people, but 'til this day, the spots have not spread all over the body. Who knows.

Uh, just take a look at your title for this thread: "Conclusive PROOF of M.J.'s Vitiligo--Pics". You say you are not brainwashed by the media, but check out how you've posted! The pictures look like something out of "The Sun" or "The National Enquirer", and then you smack down people who disagree with you, and try to get people to believe everything YOU say. rolleyes

I don't know about the skin color thing and I don't care one way or the other, but you seem to be on a mission to brainwash people into being M.J. jockers. And everyone knows that Michael did that to his nose himself, so I don't know what you're talking about when you say "robbed of his race"?! He did it himself. shrug

These shoddy pictures are just one side of the story yeah, a sketchy opinion at best and proving nothing. To quote RDHull:

Why does MJ have brown skin *under* his fingernails? The skin under most black people's nails is clear and pink.

Is that it? criticising me for the style i posted the title? c'mon.

To be honest i can't give a shit about who likes MJ and who doesn't.No way am i trying to get people to like him.Do you happen to mean me or the dozens of other people that are Pro-MJ on here? This is the first time i've posted a thread myself about him.i'm 33 not 14 and way past that stage.

I dare say it might have pissed a few people off to see pictures that might make people believe he isn't lying about his condition, and if he isn't lying about that, what else might he be telling the TRUTH about?

makes you wonder.

for anyone interested, more pics on this thread here -

While the first and last (xtra) picture r clear indications of vitiligo, the second and third are definately not.

Why couldn't they be patches remaining from skin lightening treatment in response to the alleged vitiligo?

his makeup artist said that when it first started appearing, they'd cover the light spots with dark makeup, but as it progressed, it began to look increasingly weird and was more and more expensive. they went over to the lighter makeup because the shades looked more natural on skin and there was just so many light spots that they were covering more area than they were leaving natural.

of course you hate him anyway, so i'm not sure why i'm bothering. there are bigger and better alleged child molesters to support these days, like R. Kelly, right? biggrin

What's the debate over? MJ admitted on the Oprah interview that he lightened his skin tone with creams in order to blend in with the vitiligo...he's not claiming that he hasn't altered his skin tone, he just claims that it was in response to a physical ailment.

Was the ailment so severe that it required blanket whitening I guess is the discussion point. Or was it used as an excuse to transform his appearance in the way he desired...

ACTUALLY, he did NOT say he used creams to lighten his skin. He said he used make-up to cover it up, and BLEND in with his skin.

Don't "hate" him at all actually, don't know him to make that decision. Actually he's musically a "hero" of mine who I have every solo album by, yet when it comes down to the man and his issues I have an opinion. I don't buy the whole innocent, naive, peter pan routine...

thank you marrk.
it is sad 2 see those photos.

& they do NOT look tampered with 2 me...especially the 1st & 3rd.

ISN'T IT A SHAME,even if people dont fully believe he has this condition, they will poke fun at his expense.

eye got teased at school...the football club...wherever... by kids all the time 4 being overweight..
i used 2 be embarrassed 2 go out because my acne was severe.
i'd be like Michael...just ashamed... didn't want to get out of the house...

NOW...im sure i am not the only one here who has been given a hard time about some part of their appearance they did or didn't have control over...
imagine that ridicule at school by a heap of kids.
the embarrasment.
the humiliation.
the feeling that u r the only one in the world who loves you,& sometimes even doubting that much...

well in Michael's case...it isnt JUST the kids at school.
It is the entire world.

it isn't very nice is it
