I recently found out he has a 20-something girlfriend. I guess being a musician in your 50s and dating half your age is pretty common.

Now I wish another musician in his 50s would also put out live DVDs and put them on facebook for preview!

Totally agree! "My Antarctica" is one of their best songs.

Yeah i agree, its like MAGS of a-ha said back in 2003 about remixes of their tracks, he said "we're tired of giving it to dj's and all they do is take it to ibiza and slap beats on, get creative dudes!"

I like remixes from the 1980's and maybe the early 1990's, the ones after that are just a lot of soundalike techno/house. But I don't pay attention to modern radio acts anyway, so I don't care about hearing any remixes of their songs.

Agree with the last 2 posts (of lastdecember and Mickeydolenz). I can't tell it's "Hungry Like the Wolf" here except when he sings that chorus.

Also, I much preferred the "night versions" that DD did themselves for their early songs.

It doesn't matter to me if a remix sounds like the original song, I just don't care for the style of music it was remixed in.

yeah thats it totally, to be honest all remixes now sound like the same remix, i cant tell dj's apart

This entire comically kafkaesque event would have never occurred if there had been cell phones in "1980-something." Reminds me of a YT clip I saw reenacting how famous scenes in movies would have ended if there were cell phones - no drama, no problems, just one call and entire scene avoided.

He's actually got a lot of funny stories, I like the dry way in which he tells them. The funniest story is the interview about arriving in Sri Lanka direct from mixing the album "Rio" in London.

Yes, that's what I meant too. If it were not for the chorus, it could have been any of the countless other remix songs out there. Sometimes you can be out all night and feel like this same music has been going on for hours. Doesn't inspire me to keep dancing. Then it's just like background noise.

Yet there's still movies like "Cellular" where the suspense is dependant on battery power or coverage
