Daley Bringing More Tunes to the US, Signs New Record Deal

If you love Daley's song "Alone Together," featuring Marsha Ambrosius, then we've got great news for you: the UK native is ready to bring more of his music across the pond to the U.S.

Not only has he just inked a deal with Universal Music, but Daley will be doing a few pop-up shows around New York City this coming week. In October, the British soul singer will be back in the UK for an October 2 show in London.

Amanda Warner: Diamond in the Rough

The rising electro-dancer singer Amanda Warner, known as MNRS, is not terribly interested in the conventions of pop music: She readily confesses that her debut album, Fee Me Diamonds, has elements that could be considered well, "wrong".

For starters, there's the lead single, ''#1 in Heaven", which takes some of its lyrics from a statement Patty Hearst gave following her 1975 arrest for bank robbery.

The album's title, meanwhile, is an homage to performance artist Marina Abramovic, whose pieces involve audience provocation and physical danger. "It's possible," Warner says, "to make a great pop song for everyone while referencing something real".

Emeli Sande North American Tour Dates

August 14, 2012

Not only did Emeli Sande help open the London Olympic Games, but she performed once more, taking the stage during the closing ceremony on Sunday night. The Scottish singer opened the special proceedings with her song "Read All About It (Part III)," while a worldwide audiences watched.

In other Emeli news, she'll be dropping in on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on August 22. Then, this fall, she'll be headlining a series of North American tour dates, with stops scheduled in several cities, including Washington D.C., Atlanta and Los Angeles.

Kenny Lattimore is hitting the road, and revealed a series of tour dates via Facebook this week.

First up is an August 30 show in Alexandria, VA, followed by a September 1 concert in Annapolis, MD. Then it's off to Los Angeles, with shows lined up in San Diego and Oakland too.

"More dates coming soon," writes Kenny, who invites fans to get their tickets now. The singer is gearing up for the September release of his latest album, Back 2 Cool, which includes the lead single "Find a Way."
