Ultra Wave was probably my least favorite Bootsy album, but I can not deny that each and every song on it brings back some very special memories, this song included. Hearing "Sacred Flower" at this time makes me want to go back and revisit the album. Even my LEAST favorite Bootsy album is BETTER than many.

And to be honest, I just recently re-purchased Ultra Wave's 2007 CD reissue by Collectors' Choice Music a few months ago, because of it's significantly improved sound over previous issues. Collectors' Choice Music did a great job on the reissue of Stretchin' Out as well. Both CD's sound like brand new, and way better than any of the previous CD releases, including those on that "Bootsy's Rubber Band - Original Album Series" 5 CD set (which a buddy of mine made the mistake of purchasing 2 years ago).
