Have you met Noel Fielding or Russell Brand?
I also love the part where the 5 has-beens are in line and we have to guess which is the actual one....the re-occuring guy with the curly hair and frown makes me laugh the most! |

Not as yet, Noel is a friend of a friend though. I'd love to meet Russell, I love him! Bought both of his books, he's awesome.
A radio presenter friend of mine has been on the show twice, and a pop vocalist friend has been on there too.
Funnily enough a cousin of mine has been on that segment you mentioned as well. He was a well known singer in the 90's. I find it funny though, as he's fucked over many people in our family and we don't talk to him any more so I don't give a shit that he's washed up and that being on that part of the show is the only way he can get on TV these days! LOL. |

Was your cousin one of the rejects in the lineup part of the show?
I really want to read booky wook 1 and 2, I feel like I love him more after hearing about all his struggles and addictions and how he survived it all. And I love his style and how he looks onstage when dancing and prancing around
Noel is cute, and so is his brother michael fielding, doesn't he look like MJ a little? They're both so adorable on the Mighty Boosh, I wish these shows aired in North America, I find you guys funnier.

Yep. I don't know why the hell he agreed to be on it. I don't know why anyone agrees to be on that section, it doesn't exactly make you look good! One time, I saw someone on there that had been in a popular band just TWO years prior. That's how fast the music industry is these days.
Booky Wook 1 & 2 are awesome. Highly recommended. Don't really see the MJ similarity with Mike Fielding lol, but Mighty Boosh is a funny show indeed.

I didn't see it either at first, and definitely not in real life. I think it's just the soft voice and long hair, and someone else pointed it out to me, but I didn't agree. Then the monkey was on the show, and he was such a wuss and so on
I think that part is funny, are you sure the dude I keep thinking of isn't your cousin? He had curly reddish brown hair and a leather jacket...some girl joked that dude tried to add her on facebook The best part is guessing which song is being "beatboxed" and I went crazy when they did Beat It one time.
I wish Simon stayed on as a host, though I liked him in Grandma's House too. What a shame it ended.
Mighty Boosh has awesome songs, the other comedian that plays Howard Moon wrote them. Chosen One and Isolation are the best! And Soup! [Edited 6/26/12 17:42pm] |

Liked it during the Lemarr and Amstell days, kinda dependent on the line-up for me nowadays though. |
