I hate to say this but Beyonce's We Like To Party is a really good song! This sounds like a classic soul song from the 70s or 80s. I don't care what you haters think this is pretty good. I'm still not a Beyonce fan but this rox.
It does help to have Andre on your song..lol
This goes back to my Lil Wayne thread. Andre just kills here as he kills everywhere. He's the best rapper, period! All you others say Hell Yea!!

I hate that you said it, too.
Actually, it's not as horrific as most of her other songs. It's listenable. Would I buy it? Nope! But this doesn't make my ears ache like her other songs.
There! I said something nice about Beyonce. It will be the first and last time this year. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

Pretty good. I was thinking it was gonna be a classic but then the hook came along. What a let down!
The verse was sounding great. Then the hook and it was like "hey hey hey" with no melody. Finish writing your song dammit!
Unfortunate. Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...

We've been over this.
This song and 'Love On Top' are Beyonce's best songs. She actually tried to grow as an artists with this album.
But I doubt she'll keep going to R&B. Europop is dominating, so she'll be back to making songs like Baby Boy in no time.

Well, duh! | |

You may be right but I'm thinking she's going back to Dream for another "Single Ladies" hit. I don't think growth is as important to her as sale figures are. But hey, that's just me. I could be wrong.

Her solo debut is the only thing I liked by her. The rest can go str8 to hell.

She looks nice on the photos but this song is a bummer. Love On Top was pretty good though. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

I seriously had to wean myself off this song. I was addicted to it for months. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."
