That's what i was thinking-he tried though, but Lionel had that one on lock Bub should have never messed with it

He took an all ready slow song, ( a classic, I might add) and made it even slower. His delivery of the verses, was not as good as it should have been.

I feel like the arrangement was so close to the original, that I can't really see the point to having covered it. I don't think he messed it up, he sang the song well enough, I just don't hear that he added anything to it to have made it a worthwhile version. For an artist to cover a song, I want there to be something special about it, a different arrangement, different instruments, or someone singing it with a vastly different vocal range. Big Bub's "Zoom" doesn't do it for me. (...liked his outfits though - and the locations of the shoot).

I thought Big Bub did a great job on the cover and he really did'nt need to add or take away from the original because he is a great vocalist IMO.....Good job Big Bub and the original is AWESOME as we know The Commodores feat Lionel Richie handled that song in CLASSIC fashion....One of my favs!!!!!!
